Landscape contrasts on the border of Las Bardenas
A simple route that alternates ecosystems in a historic land of great environmental value.
Carcastillo, a land of contrasting landscapes, a border between two kingdoms, of farmers who look to the sky in search of the water that gives life to their crops, of pine forests that compete with its neighbouring desert of Bardenas. On this route we invite you to discover all the environmental and historical richness of this town through paths that will transport you from one ecosystem to another in just two steps. A simple route that, starting from Carcastillo, heads towards the Dam passing through the Estrecho, climbs up to the Llano de Larrate along a steep path, passing by the Mirador, continues along a stretch of path through pine trees and continues the descent next to the CĂ¡seda road to the starting point.
