How to find us
The Middle Zone of Navarre is located in the center of the province, to the south of Pamplona. Its most populated towns are Tafalla and Olite/Erriberri, both on the banks of the Cidacos River and located in the center of the territory. The footpaths are distributed throughout 24 of the 37 municipalities covered by the Consortium for the Development of the Middle Zone.
The nearest towns are Pamplona/Iruña to the north, Estella/Lizarra and Logroño to the west, Tudela and Calahorra to the south and Ejea de los Caballeros to the east. In the center of the territory is the nucleus formed by the towns of Tafalla-Olite/Erriberri. The main communication routes are the AP-15 motorway and the N-121 highway, which cross the territory from north to south, and the A-12 motorway which links the town of Puente la Reina/Gares with Pamplona, Estella and Logroño. The main airports in the surrounding area are Pamplona/Iruña (30 km), Zaragoza (140 km) and Bilbao/Bilbo (200 km).
There is an extensive network of local roads in good condition that connects the numerous towns and villages of the Central Zone, which are generally small in size. These include the monumental sites of towns such as Puente la Reina/Gares, Artajona, Olite/Erriberri, San Martín de Unx and Ujué, as well as the concentration of Romanesque ruins in the villages of Valdorba.

BY HIGHWAY
From the north (France and north of The Basque Country and Navarre)
The AP-15 motorway and the N-121 national highway are the most direct access from Pamplona/Iruña, where they connect with the A-15 and A-10 motorways coming from the Basque Country, with the N-121 and N-135 highways coming from the border crossings with France and with the A-21 motorway that connects with the rest of the Pyrenees.
From the west (Vitoria and Logroño)
The main access from the west is the NA-132 road linking Estella/Lizarra, Tafalla and Sangüesa. From Logroño, the rest of La Rioja and Álava and the rest of the provinces to the west of Navarre, access is via the A-12 motorway. The Middle Zone can be reached from the exit from the A-12 to the NA-132 at Villatuerta, or the exits on the NA-601 that connects Puente la Reina/Gares, Mendigorria and a large part of Valdizarbe until it passes through the Campanas crossroads, where it connects with the N-121.
From the east (Huesca)
It can be accessed from the A-21 from Huesca or connecting from further north by the NA-234 that connects with the N-121 at the height of Tiebas, further south by the NA-132 through Sangüesa and entering the Middle Zone by the Alto de Lerga, or by the less common access, even further south through the NA-128 coming from the Cinco Villas de Aragón that also connects with Huesca.
From the south (Zaragoza and the rest of Spain)
The main connection with the south is the A-15 motorway that goes from Pamplona/Iruña to Tudela, where it connects with the AP-68 that goes to Zaragoza and the N-113 that connects with Soria and Madrid and hopefully soon through the A-11.
