The route we propose leaves from the town of Tiebas, passes through huge quarries, continues through the Peñartea Gorge and its climbing school, passes through the pretty village of Unzué and returns to our point of origin through a magnificent holm oak forest. A long route to admire the surroundings of the Sierra de Alaiz.

It is a demanding route due to its length that takes us to know the environment of the Sierra de Alaiz. The initial section is shared with the Murugain Route, starting from Tiebas towards the football field and then along the Camino de Santiago. When we reach the roundabout at the AP-15 junction, we leave the Camino de Santiago heading south towards the concrete and agglomerate factories. When we reach the electricity substation we turn off to the east (left) onto the path that heads towards the Peñartea gorge and climb up the track that crosses it. When we reach a replanted pine forest, we cross it and continue along the track that descends slowly until we reach Unzué / Untzue on the side of the church. We leave Unzué towards the football field and the Carral forest. Once at the football field, continue along the track that continues to the right in a north-westerly direction, parallel to the AP-15, which will take you to the electricity substation. From this point we will return to Tiebas by the same way we have done at the beginning.
