It starts in the new Ikastola of Tafalla, in the AR-2, and is newly created as its aim is to approach the Oinez Basoa, a "newly" planted forest on the occasion of the celebration of the Nafarroa Oinez in Tafalla in 2011. The forest is located in the estate of "El Raso" with an area of 8.3 hectares and involved the planting of a total of 7,400 specimens of holm oak and gall oak, native species of this wooded area of the middle zone of Navarre.
The route, 5.6 km long and 60 m of height difference, is completed in an hour and a 15 minutes and can be connected with the Monte Plano itinerary. It also has some small jewels along the way, such as the traditional vegetable garden of Felix Sanchez "Txirolas", where local vegetables are planted every season, or the return from Monte Plano along a beautiful path that runs through the most southerly forest in Navarre, in a fairly good state of conservation. It is a beautiful forest of holm oaks, kermes oaks, junipers and some gall oaks, typical of the continental Mediterranean climate of the area.
