The scenic route "Cauces y Barrancos" of the Aragón in Caparroso is a 3.5 km route divided into three sections that takes us to the banks of the Aragón river and its fluvial forest. It is a very interesting environment from a botanical, fauna and landscape point of view. In a few kilometers and without too much effort this route, ideal to do with children, climbs up to a high point to be able to take in the landscape that extends to the foot of a viewpoint from which you can see the river bank, surrounded by fields and orchards. Then we reach the river at the peculiar Manchón Dam, where we can get close to the river bank in an area where the vegetation makes it difficult to do so at other points. To finish up, the route takes us to the River Park, a point where we can stop for lunch in the prepared facilities.
To follow the route, we start the path at the junction of the Calle Ronda and the Barranco Salado. After going around the football field we arrive at the crossroads of the road, where the ascent begins to a terrace with a panoramic view and descends to the Aragón River to reach the Manchón dam.
The third section runs parallel to the Aragon River, crosses the Old Bridge and ends at the Aragon River Park.
